No golf workshop, school, clinic or individual lesson will take you beyond the skill and experience of the instructor. We have assembled a team of instructors unparalleled in the area in teaching, coaching, and playing ability. Not only can South Lakes Golf Professionals teach, but they all compete at the professional level locally and beyond. Nothing keeps an instructor more sharp and able to relate, than to experience the emotions and tension that come from competitive golf. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Brent has been a professional at South Lakes for over 25 years. He was elected to the Professional Golfers’ Association of America in 2013. Brent was the Head Coach of the Jenks Boys High School Golf Team from 1998-2015. During those 18 years as the Jenks Golf Coach, his teams won six straight championships (1999-2004), five runner-ups, and five third-places. He was also the Coach of the Jenks Boys Jr. High Golf Team from 2015-2017(May). In 2013, Brent was named the South Central Section Assistant Player of the Year. Brent is married to his wife Elo and has two sons, Brett and Ian.

Brendon is a Sand Springs native and a graduate of Charles Page High School where he was apart of the Varsity Golf and Basketball teams. After graduating, Brendon played collegiate basketball at the highest of levels. Brendon has since moved on from basketball but his love for the game of golf and his passion and desire to grow the game has brought him to the PGA. Brendon’s experience with coaching at the high school and junior level has prepped him to be a great communicator and instructor in golf. Brendon is married and a father to two! Brendon is a great teacher and wants nothing but progress and success for all his students and hopes to be of great help for anyone that he has the opportunity to teach!

Tanner grew up in a suburb of Chicago where he learned to play and love golf at a 5-hole park district par 3 course. After moving to Tulsa in 2012 with his family, he attended Chaminade University of Honolulu where he played on the golf team. After college, Tanner returned to Tulsa with the intent of working in the world of golf. He spent 3 years working at Golf Galaxy, learning to build and fix clubs as well as the ins and outs of the club fitting process. He then went on to be an Assistant Professional at Forest Ridge Golf Club where he completed his PGA education and was elected to the PGA in 2023. He spent his last 2 years at Forest Ridge as a full time instructor before joining the South Lakes Professional Staff in spring of 2024. Tanner has a passion for simplifying the complexities of golf and creating swings and games tailored to his students desires and natural tendencies.

Aren comes from Rockford, IL where he started playing the game at a young age, playing in youth tournaments including AJGA and IJGA events. Throughout his collegiate career he played his golf at St. Ambrose University while finishing with a degree in Sport Management. Aren moved to Tulsa in 2022 to pursue a career in the golf industry first starting out at Southern Hills as a greenskeeper but quickly realized he had a passion and knack for teaching. Aren joined the staff at LaFortune in January of 2023 where he quickly flourished as a teacher. Here at South Lakes he hopes to continue teaching at a high level, and give golfers of all ages and skill levels a chance to better their game.

Regina has been in the golf business for 30 plus years. She’s been a Class A PGA Professional for over 25 years and now officially a Life Member of the PGA. Regina has been teaching students of all ages and all different skill levels, men and women, and is prepped and ready to help you improve not only your golf swing but also the mental side of the game. Regina finds joy in helping others grow in the game and also help people enjoy a sport that can be played for a lifetime.
